Yes! Many members extend their Community Wireless connection to outbuildings, barns, garages, and workshops. Contact us to discuss your specific property and we'll find the best solution for your needs.
What if I'm moving to a new address? ▼
Contact us as soon as you know your new address and move date. We'll check availability at the new location and coordinate the transfer of your service. If the new address is within our service area, we'll do our best to make the transition seamless.

20 Years of Connecting Communities

Community Wireless has been here through it all — recessions, pandemics, and the ongoing challenge of bringing reliable internet to every home and business in Southern Indiana. Here's how we got here.

2005

Founded to Serve

Community Wireless was established in March 2005 as a high-speed internet solution for communities underserved by larger providers — bringing broadband to homes and businesses that were often overlooked.

2007–2009

Weathering the Financial Crisis

Successfully navigated the financial crisis while continuing to serve local communities. We emerged leaner and more committed to the people who counted on us.

2016

Business of the Year

Recognized as Charlestown Chamber Business of the Year — independent third-party recognition of our commitment to the community we serve.

2020–2022

Essential During COVID-19

Maintained connectivity for homes, businesses, students, and remote workers throughout the pandemic. Participated in the FCC "Keep Americans Connected" pledge — and extended those benefits beyond the original period because it was the right thing to do.
